Precise Fluid 2001 is a Cooling fluid for machine tool temperature control systems
●Features
1. No risk of fire
Precise Fluid 2001 is based on water and has no flash point, so it is treated as a non-hazardous material under the Fire Service Act. When starting work at the beginning of the day or operating at night, heating and cooling may be performed automatically without any human intervention, but Precise Fluid 2001 can be used safely without the risk of fire.
2. Excellent heat transfer properties
Precise Fluid 2001 is based on water, and has high heating and cooling properties, with a specific heat about twice as high and a thermal conductivity about five times as high (heat transfer coefficient = about 3.8 times) as conventional mineral oil-based heat transfer oils.
3. Excellent corrosion and rust prevention properties
When water itself is used as a heating or cooling medium, corrosion can cause a decrease in heat transfer and lead to blockage of pipes. Precise Fluid 2001 contains carefully selected corrosion inhibitors to prevent corrosion of iron and copper metals. In addition, the addition of a gas-phase rust inhibitor prevents rust on the ceiling of a tank or inside the pipes during storage of machine tools.
4. Excellent lubricity
A certain level of viscosity and wear prevention is necessary to efficiently circulate heating and cooling fluids and prevent abnormal wear in the circulation pump.
Precise Fluid 2001 has excellent lubricity thanks to the appropriate viscosity selection and the action of anti-wear agents.
●Management of oil used
Precise Fluid 2001 is based on water, which may evaporate and cause an increase in viscosity as it is used. In addition, the wear of the vapor phase rust inhibitor may lead to corrosion and rust problems.
Management of oil used is very important for the safe use of equipment.
