Product Features

LIMUPIA-4400 is a high purity antistatic additive that provides good compatibility with a variety of high-performance polymer systems, including thermoplastics and thermosets. LIMUPIA-4400 is highly transparent, contains no metal ions or halogen ions, meets the requirements of REACH and Rohs regulations, and is suitable for applications in electronics, displays, semiconductors, and other industries. In addition, LIMUPIA-4400 has excellent thermal stability, low moisture content, and nonvolatility, making it suitable for melt processing of high melting point engineering resins.

Antistatic Properties and Optical Clarity

LIMUPIA-4400 provides excellent antistatic properties to polymers at relatively low loading levels. Typical surface resistance values for polymers range from 109 to 1012 Ω/m2. LIMUPIA-4400 is colorless and transparent and has good solubility in organic media, making LIMUPIA-4400 applicable to a wide variety of polymer materials. It also has excellent transparency and is suitable for optical applications.

Operability and Thermal Stability

LIMUPIA-4400 is liquid above 27°C (m.p.). It is non-flammable and has almost no vapor pressure at high temperatures. TGA thermogravimetric temperature is 340°C, making it suitable for high temperature polymer melt processing and injection molding processes. It is also easy to operate as it is almost non-volatile in liquid state from 27°C to 340°C.

2. Durability test method: Place the prepared pressure sensitive tape sample in a constant temperature dryer at 65°C and 90% relative humidity for one week. Samples are removed from time to time and inspected for defects

how to use

LIMUPIA-4400 can be used as an antistatic additive in thermoplastics or thermosets. When used in thermosets, it is recommended that LIMUPIA-4400 be dissolved in the monomer or oligomer mixture prior to heat or light curing. When applied to thermoplastic materials, it can be added directly to the extruder together with the resin for melting. LIMUPIA-4400 has excellent thermal stability, so even the high temperatures of the melt processing process do not affect the material properties or antistatic properties. Typically, adding 1-10wt% of LIMUPIA-4400 can provide sufficient antistatic properties to the final product resin.

Quality guarantee period

The warranty period is 2 years if unopened.

LIMUPIA-4400 is crystalline at room temperature but can be easily melted by heating (30-60°C)
